Make Learning Fun with DIY Dice

Simple Materials, Limitless Learning

Crafting dice out of recycled boxes is a versatile activity that preschoolers will love. With just some basic supplies, you can encourage creativity, strengthen fine motor skills, and introduce early math concepts – all while having fun!

Gather Your Materials

Unordered List:

  • Old boxes like shipping boxes or empty tissue boxes
  • Scissors
  • Markers or stickers for decorating
  • Tape

Cut along the sides of the boxes to form cube shapes. Then let your preschooler’s imagination run wild as they decorate their new dice with markers, stickers, or whatever inspires them! Once complete, fold up the sides and secure with tape.

Play and Learn

Paragraph 3: Now it’s time for the best part – playing games! Roll the dice and count the dots together. Take turns rolling and adding the totals. You can also make up your own dice games centered around colors, shapes, or other preschool topics. Get creative and watch their learning unfold through play.
